North Carolina: new law makes cyber bullying a criminal offense
As of December 1st, cyber-bullying is a criminal offense with a misdemeanor charge in North Carolina, under the new Protect our kids/cyber bullying law. This new law joins several other new laws about to take effect in North Carolina. Some additional interesting ones are:
- Sex offender can't drive bus with children the DMV will be able to not renew a commercial drivers license for someone to drive a school bus if they are a sex offender.
- Sex offender registry/Liberties with student will add a new offense beyond just sex offense with a child.
- No texting while driving will make it illegal for anyone driving a car to text message or email while driving on a public street.
